Quasi-Gut utilizes a new thermo-elastic polyurethane resin to bind the multifilament core of the string for enhanced tension maintenance for longer playability. The tightly wound microfibers are coated to extend time before fraying begins, and then wrapped again with larger filaments in an outerwrap. This construction helps to increase the durability of the string by not allowing the wear to immediately occur to the smaller multifilament core.
